VERN HENDERSON
After a 35 year career in law enforcement, Vern retired as the Chief of Police in Monmouth County. That’s when his inner aspiring singer came out! He took advantage of his retirement to continue doing what he loves. After retiring—he pursued his passion for music and made his vision of bringing musically talented people together and forming an eclectic group of music entertainers become real. Vern's retirement gave him the chance to make his vision of music a reality. Catch Vern singing lead & backup vocals—as well as spinning the music mixes during Reflection Station's performances!
SHARI HENDERSON
Shari has been involved in music performance throughout her life. "Music has always been Shari Henderson's thing." She spent her early days singing in school chorus productions and performing live with bands in the Middlesex County area. She would go on to share the stage with musicians who are members of some of today's prominent high-profile acts!
You'll catch Shari front and center—singing lead and backup vocals—as well as playing an array of small percussion instruments!
NEIL MIRANDA
Neil Miranda is a singer/songwriter who brings a wide array of musical talent to the group—including guitar, harmonica, and box drum—as well as vocals. His singing and songwriting encompass a broad spectrum from rock, folk, blues/jazz, gospel & country. Neil Miranda has taken his talents from California to New Jersey up to Florida with many stops along the way! And every time Neil is not performing with Reflection Station—he's working on a CD of original songs with Nashville North Studios!
VALERIE VAUGHN
Valerie Vaughn is a singer/songwriter guitar & keyboardist with over 30 years of experience in rock bands, folk trios, and R7B groups. She is also known as "New Jersey's Troubadour". Valerie is celebrated for her numerous compositions about New Jersey's history and folklore. As a matter of fact—she was chosen to perform at the Kennedy Center to showcase her many songs and was a featured alumnus in Rutgers Magazine. Valerie spends her time as the resident songwriter for the Jersey shore folklife center at the Tuckerton seaport and belting out her favorite songs with Reflection Station.
JANICE BURKE
A vocal performer with talents beyond even her own awareness. She is known to many as "Jammin Janice"—an entertainer and show host on Long Beach Island for several years. However—her musical roots go far deeper.
She studied and taught music theory and performance before moving to New Jersey full-time. Janice has the ability to hear things musically that others don't realize while adjusting music to accommodate our individual vocal ranges. As though this isn't enough—Janice is an incredible singer in the lower female register—and she also provides accompaniment to the group on both keyboard and guitar.
BILLY LEE
Billy is the consummate entertainer who has performed for many years with bands throughout the United States. He has lent his strong lead vocals to performances at venues from the Eastern Metropolitan area to the New Orleans Jazz scene and onward to the West Coast with thousands of shows to his credit.
His talent spans many genres of music from Standards and Jazz to Pop—Country and Rock. A little-known fact about Billy’s early career was his knack to play the straight man in a comedy act—with much success.
